Chemistry 30A is an introductory chemistry course meant for those with no previous background in chemistry. It is often required for nursing and other allied health majors. It can also be used as a lab science general education requirement.

Also Required:a scientific calculator that can handle logarithms and scientific notation. No programmable calculators or graphing calculators are allowed on tests or quizzes.
