Did you know that commercial buildings include hi-tech equipment and systems which need technicians to ensure they work properly, and many local employers can’t find enough qualified people to hire? However, veterans with technical training are highly in-demand due to their experience, aptitude, skills, and discipline.
On Nov. 30, we’ll be hosting a FREE EVENT & DINNER at Laney College for vets to learn about cutting-edge careers and our educational programs in BUILDING OPERATIONS AND AUTOMATION. Participants will be able to
– Meet veterans who work in building operations and automation for companies such as Siemens, Syserco, and Alexandria Real Estate Equities.
– Learn about our Commercial HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), Building Automation, and Advanced Lighting Controls programs which can’t be found at most other Bay Area community colleges.
– Tour our labs, meet our faculty, and get started on a rewarding career!
