Information Session Dates for students who plan to enter in Fall 2017 (August – December)

Information Sessions are as follows for Fall 2017 admission. All Information Session are regularly held on the last  Thursday of the month from 5p-6p. Towards the end of the semester (and in the summer), Information Sessions are held more frequently:

  • February 23rd
  • March 30th
  • April 20th
  • April 27th
  • May 11th
  • May 18th
  • June 8th
  • June 22nd
  • July 13th
  • July 20th

Requirements for Attendance

    • Reserve a space by calling 510.986.6941 or by emailing us at gateway@peralta.edu
    • Complete an application, which you can request by calling 510.986.6941 by emailing us at gateway@peralta.edu, or by downloading here
    • Arrive on time with completed application

Location of Information Sessions

    • Information Sessions are held at Laney College, Building A, Room 203 (second floor)
    • Laney College is located one block south of the Lake Merritt BART station and is also served by AC Transit; metered street parking is available near the campus (free after 6:00 p.m.)

Additional Information

    • Parents, counselors, friends and agency case managers of prospective students are welcome and encouraged to attend
    • Students who meet the initial eligibility requirements must attend future evaluation sessions
