End of Semester Events at Laney

There were several things happening at Laney on Thursday, Dec. 14 — just at the end of the fall semester.

Among some of them was the Classified Senate’s Coat & Toy Drive for the little ones at the Children’s Center. A total of 61 new coats, plus dozens of toys were collected.

The Graphic Arts Department hosted Power By Design – the theme for the 2017 Arts Showcase. Daniela Nikolaeva (dressed up as Wonder Woman) welcomed guests for an evening of art, food, and music.

At the theater, the Media Department hosted the Student Film Festival. Attendees got to watch two hours worth of videos produced by students of all skill levels.
