Photo 220: Beginning Professional Photography. Sections A/B/C/D.  2 Units each.

Prerequisite for 220A: Photo 70 or Photo 10.

Prerequisite for 220B: Photo 220A (Beginning Pro)
Prerequisite for 220C: Photo 220B (Beginning Pro)
Prerequisite for 220D: Photo 220C (Beginning Pro)

Improve your camera skills or pursue a career as a professional photographer. Emphasis on the fundamentals of camera capture, basic lighting with artificial and available light. Improve your photography using industry practices in the commercial, portraiture, event, wedding, photojournalism, fine art and fashion markets.

Monday Morning Class (9:00am-12:50pm) Traditional film is supported in the Monday class.

Photo 230: Intermediate Professional Photography. Sections A/B/C/D.  2 Units each.

Prerequisite for 230A: Photo 220D (Beginning Pro)
Prerequisite for 230B: Photo 230A (Intermediate Pro)
Prerequisite for 230C: Photo 230B (Intermediate Pro)
Prerequisite for 230D: Photo 230C (Intermediate Pro)

Intermediate photography concentrating on production practices. Digital capture and processing. Advanced studio and location lighting. Photography as a business and establishing a workflow. Developing real-time assignments as they apply to different photography markets: editorial, advertising, event, portraiture, wedding, fashion and photojournalism.

Wednesday Morning Class (9:00am-12:50pm) Traditional film is supported in the Wednesday day class.

Photo 240: Development of Commercial Photography. Sections A/B/C/  2 Units each.

Comprehensive level of digital photography designed for students to develop their individual style and portfolio. This concentrates on the aesthetics and professional quality of their photography and professional work on real-time assignments both individually and as a team. Mastering your digital medium in the different photography markets: commercial, documentation, editorial, advertising, portraiture, fashion and photojournalism. Digital application only.
