Graphing 101
Graphing in your algebra class is different from scientific graphing. In Chemistry 1A, most instructors prefer that you graph by hand and not use a computer program. Graphing by hand ensures that you grasp the basic concepts of using a graph as a tool. I have had students use this handout for other classes:
An Introduction To Graphing
This paper is similar to the graph paper in your lab book. Use this for scratch paper to lay out your graph. I find it useful so that I don’t waste paper in my lab book. Since most of you have not bought your lab books yet, you will use this paper to turn in the graph in the handout , ‘An Introduction to Graphing’
