APASS campus tour to SF State University and CSU East Bay on October were spectacularly successful. Our students keep asking us when will we take them to UC Berkeley because it is their dream school.

APASS welcomes the Year of the Pig with special foods, activities, and performances!
On Monday, February 4th at Laney College Cafeteria, APASS will host “LUNAR NEW YEAR, YEAR OF THE PIG 2019” at 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM with special foods, fun games and colorful and dramatic lion dance at 12:00 PM.

Introduction to Mental Health Workshop
A clear distinction is often made between ‘mind’ and ‘body’. But when considering mental health and physical health, the two should not be thought of as separate. Poor physical health can lead to an increased risk of developing mental health problems. Similarly, poor mental health can negatively impact on physical health, leading to an increased risk of some conditions.
Nowadays, people tend to care more about physical health. we know how to do excise and keep our body in shape, we know and feel when you get physical diseases but what about mental diseases?
APASS invites you to our Introduction to Mental Health Workshop on Nov 7th, 2018 from 11 a.m – 12 p.m at GYM 112 APASS office.
This workshop will provide you important mental health education, symptoms if you are having a mental health problem, some resources that you can get help.

This season, the A’s are playing great ball and having an outstanding season. Take in a game with APASS on Friday, September 21st @ 7:05. To sweeten the deal the A’s have generously given us a limited number of game tickets so that we can go for free! It will also be a game when the A’s will give away a Sean Manaea Bobble Head to commemorate his no-hitter.

A Transfer Fair will be held for International Students interested in transferring to a 4-Year University on May 3, 2018 at Berkeley City College from 10am-2pm. As of today, the following Universities have confirmed their attendance: SF State, CSU Chico, CSU Dominguez Hills, CSU Fullerton, Sonoma State University, CSU Channel Islands, CSU Northridge, UC Santa Cruz, CSU Fresno, CSU Monterey Bay, CSU Long Beach, Holy Names University and Golden Gate University.
