On August 14, 2014, Laney College held an event to discuss the results of assessing Institutional Learning Outcome 4. Six instructors were chosen to give short presentations to the rest of the college on professional day. These instructors described their assignment and their results and discussed what they learned and what they found surprising in assessing ILO #4. This was followed by a college-wide discussion about the implications of the results for the institution.
