Reminder: Last Day to Add & Student Center Services

Important Deadline & Temporary Relocation of 3rd & 4th Floor Student Center Services

Dear Laney Students,

This email is to provide you with very important updates and deadlines.

August 30th is the last day to add a class in-person on campus at Admissions & Records. September 2nd is the last day to add a class online with a course permission number.

In order to provide enrollment support, key student services will continue to offer extended hours from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm now through Thursday, August 29^th.

• Admissions & Records (A-109)
• Financial Aid (A-201)
• Welcome Services (A-101)
• Counseling (Tower, 3^rd Floor)

The Student Center

Due to a broken elevator, the 3^rd and 4^th floors of the Student Center will be closed effective immediately to ensure accessibility and safety for all students.  Key services on the 3^rd and 4^th floors have been temporarily relocated to the following:

• Office of Student Activities & Campus Life
  • Tower, Room 214

• Health Services & Wellness Center II
  • Tower, Room 250 (Health Services & Wellness Center I)

• Lactation Room
  • Tower, Room 803 (visit T-250 to schedule usage)

• Prayer Room
  • Library, Room 304

• Veterans Resource Center
  • E Building, Room 260

The Cafeteria and Bookstore will remain open in the Student Center and available for students.  If you need support to access the bookstore, please see the signs posted in the Student Center for assistance or call 510-599-9411.
