Basics of HVAC Program Accreditation

To assist post-secondary HVAC/R and Building Performance instructors, Laney College presented a webinar on “Basics of HVAC Program Accreditation.” Representing the 3 leading organizations involved in this area, the presenters included Tom Tebbe of HVAC Excellence, Ed Prevatt of NCCER (The National Center for Construction Education and Research), and Warren Lupson of PAHRA (The Partnership for Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Accreditation). They each described the benefits and requirements of their respective accreditation processes.

Length: Approximately two hours with three 20-minute presentations, as well as one hour for Q&A and discussion.
