Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Students are automatically considered for a federal SEOG grant when they file the FAFSA application and complete their file. These funds are awarded to the most needy students. The Federal SEOG is also a program that does not need to be repaid. First priority goes to students with ‘0’ Expected Family Contribution.
The award amounts will vary based on the students need. Only students who are enrolled in at least one class are eligible to receive the funds at Laney College. This program is designed for students showing exceptional need and Pell Grant eligibility.
