***ATTENTION***

 Gateway to College at Laney will be closed for in-person student services beginning March 17, 2020. In-person support services will be closed through May 29th, 2021 . Information Sessions for Spring 2021 enrollment will be conducted through Zoom video conferencing.

March 10th, 2021

A) 4:30 – 5:30 pm

 

March 24th, 2021

A) 2:30 – 3:30 pm (1st Session)

B) 4:30 – 5:30 pm (2nd Session)

 

April 7th, 2021

A) 4:30 – 5:30 pm

 

April 21st, 2021

A) 2:30 – 3:30 pm (1st Session)

B) 4:30 – 5:30 pm (2nd Session)

 

May 5th, 2021

A) 4:30 – 5:30 pm

 

May 19th, 2021

A) 2:30 – 3:30 pm (1st Session)

B) 4:30 – 5:30 pm (2nd Session)

 

June 2nd, 2021

A) 4:30 – 5:30 pm

Tentative Time for the above Information Session Dates will be from 4 :30 pm – 5:30 pm and will provide a limited amount of  sessions from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm via Zoom Video Conference.

Step 1- Complete our Online Spring – 2021 Gateway to College Interest List

 

  • Ensure that all information within the Interest List is completed to the best of your ability.

Step 2- Attend an Online Information Session with GTC Staff

  • Interested applicants will choose an Information Session date with the Online Fall 2021 Interest Form.
  • All Information Sessions will be held on Thursdays from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm via Zoom through remote conferencing :

 

  • If the times and dates do not work, please contact our GTC Staff Assistant to schedule a Zoom or Phone appointment for an Alternative date and time.

 

 

Step 3- Complete the Gateway to College Application

  • After you attend an Information Session you will receive an email notification with our Gateway to College Application. You may email our GTC Staff Assistant with the GTC Application as a attachment.

Note: Please do not provide Social Security Number on the initial application. If needed, we will ask applicants to provide other pertinent information once the student is accepted for the GTC program.

 

  • Interested applicants are expected to submit an Essay Response regarding their interest and motivation to attend the Gateway to College Program. The Essay Questions will be included within the GTC application.

Additional Information

 

  • Parents, counselors, friends and agency case managers of prospective students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
  • Students who meet the initial eligibility requirements must attend future evaluation sessions.
