Felipe Wilson is a political science instructor at Laney College. He is originally from El Paso, Texas and has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wake Forest University, a Master’s degree in Political Science from San Diego State University, and a Master’s in Teaching from the University of San Francisco. His research and teaching interests primarily focus on human rights, social justice, and restorative justice. He regularly teaches classes in American Government, Comparative Politics, International Relations, and State and Local Government. He is currently serving as co-chair of the Social Sciences Department and co-chair of the Professional Development Committee. Away from school, he is an avid sports fan (particularly fanatical about the Denver Broncos), is married, and has a corgi he obsesses over.
