We had an amazing turnout at the Women in Government Panel this month. We had over 40 people attend, it was standing room only and overflowed into the hall. The panelists each shared powerful insights and personal stories about their experiences as students and as elected officials. At the end Councilmember Droste opened up the floor and asked what it was that was challenging us on our campus. Student Trustee Aisha Jordan then channeled everyone into action and invited students to speak during Public Comment at the next Board of Trustee’s meeting on April 9th, at 6pm, in the District Office.
