Bob Paiz

Bob Paiz was born and raised in the SF Bay Area. After six years active duty U.S. Army, he enrolled at College of Marin and was put in charge of the Associated Students’ sound system. He continued doing live sound while attending SFSU where he graduated with a Radio/Television degree with an emphasis in audio production. Bob attended the BECA program and studied under John Barsotti. He has nearly forty years experience in live audio and in all aspects of production for concerts and audiovisual.
 
Bob joined the industry a few years after the invention of the Monitor Console. He spent a good chunk of time chasing buzzes in analog audio with balanced and unbalanced wiring systems. His roots are in analog audio and observed, learned, and excelled in the emerging world of digital audio and state-of-the-art line array speaker systems for Arenas and Coliseums.
