College Credit at Oakland High Schools

College Credit at Oakland High Schools

Laney’s Photography Department brings the college-level courses, Photo 74: Introduction to Professional Photography and Photo 71: Introduction to Digital Photography, to Oakland High Schools. Under an agreement with the Oakland Unified School District through a Dual Enrollment Program model, this class is a full college curriculum for college credit for High School students only.

Photo 74 develops a deeper understanding of light and lighting, small sets and artificial light.

Photo 71 teaches the basic operation of a Digital-SLR (DSLR) for proper capture, the importing and management of subsequent files via Adobe Lightroom, and their export for subsequent usage.
