Laney Eagle’s Nest

The Laney College Eagle’s Nest fosters a culture of holistic well-being by helping to eliminate life barriers, such as food, housing, and economic injustice, that may jeopardize students’ academic and personal success. We are your one-stop-shop to receive information and access on and off-campus basic needs resources.

We are located on the 3rd floor of the Student Center (SC-327). Stop by to receive information and assistance! 

Food Pantry: 

Students must be enrolled in Spring 2023 semester and present their student ID to be eligible to receive items from the food pantry. The pantry is located in the Student Center, lobby level. 

Free pantry and produce distribution will be offered Mondays-Thursdays starting at 10:00 AM (ONE pantry pick-up per student per week) 

**Free lunch provided Mondays-Thursdays**

Showers: 

Assembly Bill 1995 authorizes any student enrolled in a California Community College that is facing a financial or housing crisis the opportunity to shower in the locker room facilities maintained by the college without the requirement of enrollment in a physical education (PE) course or athletic department program. 

Showers are offered Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM inside the Men’s and Women’s locker rooms. **Student MUST bring their own towels**
