Emergency Student Transportation
The Laney College Eagle’s Nest offers limited BART Clipper cards for students facing financial hardship. If you are facing an unexpected situation and need urgent transportation to attend classes, reach important appointments on-campus, our Emergency Student Transportation Assistance program is here to support you.
Eligibility:
- Current enrollment in at least 6 units or 2 non-cerdit courses for the Fall 2024 semester.
- Must attend a minimum of 1 in-person class at Lany College.
- Home school is Laney College.
- Demonstrated financial need or an unexpected emergency that hinders access to transportation.
How to Apply:
- Complete the Request Form: Fill out the Emergency Transportation Assistance Request Form available HERE.
- Review & Approval: Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and approved students will be notified promptly.
- If you are selected to receive a Clipper card, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information 1-2 weeks after the application deadline.
- Due to the high volume of applications, rejection notices will not be emailed.

Did you know that you are eligible for a AC Transit Bus Pass if you are an in-state student enrolled in at least six units at Peralta? Please note that it will take 10 business days for your AC Transit Card to arrive at our Cashier’s Office. For more information, please head over to https://www.peralta.edu/easypass
