Chromebooks for students

Chromebooks For Students

Depending on availability, some students are eligible for a free Chromebook. Find out if you are eligible, get help with your Chromebook, and other FAQs. Currently enrolled students with their student ID may check out a Chromebook at the Textbook Desk in the library.

SAS High Tech Center

SAS High Tech Center

The Student Accessibility Services High Tech Center offers instruction in the use of adaptive software and equipment, including speech recognition, screen reading, image enlarging, Braille display and adaptive keyboards using a variety of software applications.

Math Lab

Math Lab

Operating as the Math Department “information center” we offer drop-in tutoring for all math and stats classes, both in-person and online. Textbooks and scientific/graphing calculators available for semester-long checkout or use within the Lab as well as table space and 20 computers for use.

CIS open lab and tutoring

Computer Information Systems Lab

CIS Open Lab is held when the computer labs are not in use for classes. These times may vary from day to day, five days of the week, but it allows students time to use computers during school hours for research and homework.

Canvas online learning system

Student Portal & Canvas Online Learning

Learn how to access and use Canvas by linking to this Canvas Self-Paced Orientation class. Canvas is the online learning management system used by the Peralta Colleges. The student portal allows you to access Canvas, your student email, Office 365 applications & more.

The listening center

Listening & Viewing Center

The Listening & Viewing Center provides access to the Library’s collection of videos, DVDs, audiotapes, CD-ROMS, computer disks, and compact disks. The Center also makes computer workstations available to students for word processing and printing.
