    Facility Rental

    Laney College offers facility rentals and the professional services needed to present conferences, workshops, sporting events, and stage performances. Centrally located in the heart of Downtown Oakland, the college is easily accessible by public transportation and major highway arteries, making it an ideal place to host your next function.

    Our client roster includes, community organizations, professional associations, industry partners, government agencies, and faculty and administrative staff.  The next time you begin planning an event for groups as few as 10 people to 1,500 people or more, please consider renting facilities at Laney College.

    Facility Rentals at Laney College

    Laney College offers facility rentals for both internal and external users. The process depends on who you are, so start by selecting the option that fits you.

    Internal Requests (Students & Employees)

    If you are a Laney College student or employee:

    • Complete a Use of Facilities Form (Facility Application Form)
    • Submit your form to the Facility Services Specialist in Tower Building, Room 209 (T-209)

    Before submitting a Use of Facilities Application, it is strongly recommended that you read all policies and guidelines pertaining to facility rentals. The following information will be helpful to you in planning your programs at our facilities.

    External Requests (Community, Nonprofits & Businesses)

    This applies to all outside individuals, nonprofits, and for-profit organizations.

    Planning Your Reservation

    • All requests are processed as quickly as possible, but high demand may cause delays
    • Space is limited, and popular venues may book up to a semester in advance
    • Plan ahead and submit your request early to secure your preferred date
    • Be sure to review all facility rental policies and guidelines before submitting your request
