We’re super excited to share this awesome opportunity to participate in, or help co-facilitate (you?!), a Creative Resistance Workshop on Saturday, November 9th, 4-7pm in B210!! Think art meets activism!
Do you sing, make music, feel passionately about something and have something you want to share with people? Come join the conversation if you can!
Reserve your spot today. Spaces are limited. RSVP with your name and if you’re wanting to help co-facilitate and share your art and message, or if you’re up for sharing your voice and joining the conversion as an attendee.
Joseph & Diaspoura’s Workshop Objectives:
Deepen students’ understanding of how their current artistic work, social position, identity, etc. contribute to the larger movement for queer liberation and racial justice.
Define key issues of importance to students in the current political climate.
Determine steps that students can take to create change within their sphere of influence.
RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org and help spread the word.
