CARE supports low-income community college students facing educational challenges by providing additional financial assistance, personalized advising, and access to valuable resources, helping them navigate their college journey more smoothly and successfully.

- Carry at least 12-units (full-time)
- Currently receiving CalWORKs/TANF/AFDC
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- You are a single head of household
- Must have at least one child
There is a limited number of applications available during the distribution dates on a first come first serve basis. Acceptance into the program will be based on Program Eligibility and Program Funding.
You must complete the CARE Agency Certification Form. All eligible CARE students must re-verify benefits beginning July 1 for the following academic year.
