    You can connect to free Wi-Fi across campus by selecting the open "MyPeraltaNet" network. Stay connected wherever you are at Laney!

    When you're not on campus, there are also free and low-cost internet plans available to help you stay connected.

    Free & Low-Cost Internet Plans

    AT&T

    Access from AT&T provides qualified households with low-cost internet. You can get plans up to $30 per month and speeds up to 100Mbps. It also includes in-home Wi-Fi® and unlimited internet data on select plans. There’s no annual contract, no deposit, no installation fee, and no equipment fee.

    California Connects Mobile Internet

    California Community Colleges students are eligible for the California Connects Mobile Internet service. This new mobile hotspot service, powered by Sprint, offers nationwide 4G LTE connectivity and allows users to connect up to 10 WiFi-enabled devices for up to 10 hours on a single charge, with no contract required, for only $19.99 a month.

    Oakland Public Libraries

    All Oakland Public Libraries offer free Wi-Fi that can be accessed during operating hours, and in many cases, even from outside the building.
