Adam has experience in both industrial maintenance and R&D machining. He is very active managing the department’s Instagram account @laneymachinetech He also created the Machine Tech Video Blog, a YouTube channel dedicated to educating the next generation of machinists, metrologists and maintenance techs. Peder has work experience as a CNC machinist and mechanical engineer. He was previously a high school and middle school mathematics teacher, working in schools in Oakland and in Guatemala.

Jennifer Doyle
Bio
An Oakland native, Jennifer (Jen) Doyle has over a decade of experience working as a Mechanical Engineer at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley. She is also a graduate of both the Machine Technology and Welding Technology programs at Laney! In her free time, she likes to explore the outdoors and make art.
