Materials for the twelfth class 4/30

Lecture this week will cover Chapter 9: Solutions. We will cover most of the slides (28 total) over the two lectures on Saturday. Lectures will emphasize the concepts, and there will be some calculations to work out in Homework #10. The molarity (M = moles/Liters or mol/L) formula especially is an important intermediate step used next week covering Chapter 10 (Acids/Bases) and the Titration experiment. Keep in mind that understanding titration, which involves the concepts and the molarity formula from Chapter 9, is one of the main learning outcomes for Chem30A participants.
