Chosen from thousands of junior colleges, Laney College was the focus of Last Chance U Season 5 for our excellence on and off the field. The producers sought out a program that not only dominated athletically — but also embodied leadership, heart, and the power of second chances.

The Laney Eagles Legacy
State Champs. National Contenders. Local Heroes.
In 2018, the Eagles went 11–2 and were named CCCAA State Champions and mythical national champions. Their grit, discipline, and camaraderie were unmatched — and made for compelling viewing around the world.
