Credit Classes
Credit classes are designed for students working toward a degree, certificate, or transfer to a four-year university. These courses carry college units and contribute to academic progress.

Noncredit classes provide free educational opportunities for students looking to build skills, prepare for further study, or enhance their careers without the pressure of grades or tuition costs.
Key Features:
- Require tuition and are eligible for financial aid
- Count toward degrees, certificates, and transfer requirements
- Graded on an A/B/C/D scale, affecting GPA
- Recorded on official transcripts
- Can only be repeated if a student receives a non-passing grade (D or lower)
- Cover the same material as noncredit classes
- Free to enroll; no tuition costs
- Do not count toward financial aid eligibility
- Graded as Pass/No Pass and do not affect GPA
