Get the right start for your digital photography. Taught on DSLR & MILC cameras, not phones. Need a camera or computer? We’ve got you covered!

Photo-71: Introduction to Digital Photography

We’ve crafted this class to train both those who just want to learn the basic digital approach and support shooters for further participation in our program. This class will set you up for the rest of your photo career. Properly manage a DSLR/MILC manually and process images to get the most out of your captures. It is presented in a step-wise fashion, building on fundamentals to take you beyond the limits of phone photography.

Description: Introduction to digital photography: Theory and practical application, camera operation, image adjustment and file management, use of standard industry editing software. This is a prerequisite for all subsequent advanced Photo classes: Photo 74/75/76, and Photo 20/21: Photojournalism.

All classes take place in room A-178
