Department Overview

Academic geography is the study of how humans and the planet interact and affect each other. Simultaneously, natural processes like plate tectonics (earthquakes, volcanic eruptions), climate change (sea-level rise, heat waves, etc.), and the perennial cycles of resources and energy greatly affect human life.
