Q: I pay for college. Why can’t I access my child’s records?
A: Under federal law (FERPA), college students' records are private. Students must provide written consent for parents to access academic or financial information.
Q: Can my child take classes at Laney while in high school?
A: Yes. High school students may be eligible for dual enrollment. They’ll need approval from their high school and Laney College.
