Prevention of Sexual Violence & Harassment Training
Title IX covers many areas, and it can sometimes feel complicated. While you don’t need to be a legal expert, it’s important for everyone to understand the basics.
This introductory training is designed to help college community members learn what Title IX is, why it matters, and how it applies to issues of sexual harassment and sexual assault. The course covers the definition of sexual harassment, the college’s responsibilities under Title IX, and what makes an effective policy.
The California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office, in collaboration with Title IX and Student Life departments, are providing five video modules to address various aspects of sexual violence and harassment training. These videos also support compliance with AB 2683.
