Welcome to Laney College, my name is Iliana Limas and I am an adjunct counselor here at Laney College. I was born and raised in Southern California and have been working in student services for over 5 years. I am a product of the community college system and like many of you, I am a first generation Latina. I have an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Santa Ana College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. Zot, zot, zot! Most recently, I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with my Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Student Development in Higher Education.
Currently, I counsel students in General Counseling and have experience working with a diverse student population. A fun fact about me is that I was a ride operator at Knott’s Berry Farm for over two years and operated all Fiesta Village, Camp Snoopy, and others! I am a hockey fanatic and love to cuddle with my fur babies during my free time. If you would like to make an appointment with me I am available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30am until 7pm and Fridays from 8am-12pm.
