Once you have identified a major, area of interest, degree or certificate path, meet with a counselor to make sure you are on track for completing your desired degree or certificate program. Meeting regularly with a counselor is an excellent strategy for staying on track and ensuring you complete your desired degree or certificate program successfully.

Laney College offers Associate in Arts (AA) and Associate in Science (AS) degrees. Requirements for graduation with an Associate Degree are prescribed by the California Community College System and the Board of Trustees of the Peralta Community College District.
